Crack Cake Recipe

Introduction
Crack Cake is a delicious, spongy and rich bundt cake that has become popular for its simplicity in making it and its taste. The name was given to the cake because it is believed to be addictive. It is a dessert which brings together a moist, buttery consistency with flavors of wine confectionery and spices like cinnamon. Be it whether one is skilled or not, this “crack” cake could still be used to impress guests as well as meet your sweet craving.

Ingredients:
Cake:

One packet yellow cake mix
Three point four ounces instant vanilla pudding mix
Four big eggs
Half cup water
Half cup vegetable oil
One cup white wine
Quarter cup brown sugar;
Quarter cup granulated sugar;
Two teaspoons ground cinnamon;
Glaze:

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
One-half teaspoon pure vanilla extract
A quarter-cup dry white wine

Directions:
It’s not difficult. It’s just that you need to preheat your oven.

Grease the bottom and sides of a 10 inch tube pan with shortening, then dust it lightly with flour.

Mix cake batter in this manner:

Combine cake mix, pudding mixes, eggs, water, oil and wine in large bowl. Start by beating the mixture on low speed for one minute followed by two minutes on medium speed.

On the other hand, combine brown sugar, granulated sugar and cinnamon in another small bowl.

Make layers of batter first:

Pour half of the dough into a pan that has been greased.

Sprinkle the sugar-cinnamon mixture over it.

Cover all this with the remaining batter.

Bake for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center of cake comes out clean

Prepare glaze while waiting for baking time to elapse:

Warm up butter in a small saucepan placed over medium heat until melted

Add sugar and wine; stir continuously until sugar is dissolved and mixture is well blended

Allow glaze to simmer about five minutes before removing from heat
